A little bit about us

HJG Removals was first established in 2019 after the owner Hayden Grant at age 23 was medically discharged from the British Army after serving for 6 years. Hayden first started off small, providing a man and van service locally and within 6 months the company had rocketed and continues to do so running now as a fully successful, highly recommended house moving company that has made a big impact in the moving industry in Scotland in such a short space of time. We are a very close hard working team of movers who work with a very high standard and great discipline that Hayden has been able to bring to the company from his military background and share it within our team of movers. We believe our passion, hard work and determination is taking HJG Removals to the next level and beyond. With HJG Removals being recognised and highly recommended locally, Hayden looked to give back to the local communities during the recent pandemic which led him to feature on a BBC Documentary.   We were very impressed with Hayden from his visit to survey the items for moving, his professionalism and the promptness of answering our emails when we had questions which arose. Hayden and his team gave first class customer service and put our minds at rest at a stressful time.   Our house flooded in January and we were told we had to remove all our furniture including our piano and specicialist built book case. I contacted HJG Removals and got a response very quickly. They took to understanding my exact needs and providing information and a quote to help.  Hayden and his team fitted us in to co-inside with the work we required to be done to the house. When they removed and put back the furniture they did so with so much care and consideration to the items. I was very impressed with how great they were with the piano - and placing it back in the exact spot we needed it.   From the minute I reached out to get a quote I had a good feeling about this company. Hayden arrived ready to note everything down and the quote was sent over right away. Every email responded to very promptly and invoice, receipt, insurance info all provided. On the day itself they arrived bang on time and worked very hard. Very professional team had floor covers. Bags for the sofa, mattresses etc. Very friendly and smiley despite all the stairs involved at both ends of the move! Can’t thank you enough guys and I’m sure we will bump into you at the nursery!
