About HJG Removals: Local Experts, Family Values
We are a very close, hard-working team of movers. We work to a very high standard and with great discipline, the same standards Hayden brought with him from the Army.

Our Johnstone Base and Storage Facility
Our HQ and depot sit on Mary Street in Johnstone, in the heart of Renfrewshire.
Our secure storage facility is on the same site, so your belongings can stay with us between moving out and moving in.

What our customers say
We PRIDE OURSELVES ON THE HARD WORK WE CARRY OUT AND IT SHOWS IN OUR REVIEWS BELOW.
Marcus Rotzoll7 September 2026They are brilliant! I was worried about lots of things and thanks to HJG the move went very smoothly! It was a pleasure to deal with HJG.
Kenneth Moyse18 August 2026Cannot recommend HJG Removals highly enough. Hayden has looked after my account/possessions faultlessly. On moving in day Michael and the team were superb and nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional company to deal with which is a rarity these days.
Adam Chivers16 August 2026A fantastic experience from start to finish. Hayden and his team at HJG Removals managed our 2 part move, 1st from a flat to a house and then some more kit coming from storage (in a loft!) a few weeks later. Everything was managed effectively and efficiently in a calm and professional manner. I highly recommend this company. Thanks HJG.
Grant Gibson16 August 2026First class service from Hayden and the team. Fast, efficient and very careful with all of our stuff. They say moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do, but this crew made it all feel totally in hand and under control. Thanks again!
Emily Burke15 August 2026We had a wonderful experience with HJG - we did quite a good amount of comparison quotes against other removal companies who all had great customer reviews for our move, and they were our choice based on cost, care of our items, and price for overtime (bc we had quite a large chain and didn’t know exactly when we’d get the keys). These guys showed up right when they said they would, were friendly and FAST, and didn’t bat an eye when we had a four hour wait before we could move in! Great communication, great price, great team. I hope to not have to move again, but if I ever do I’m calling Hayden!
Janice Hindmarch13 August 2026Hayden and his team were very helpful and made moving day so much easier and less stressful. I would highly recommend them.
Douglas Fitzsimmons11 August 2026Hayden and his team were first class catering for our difficult move, but they handled every problem (caused by ourselves) without any drama. I would have no hesitation recommending this firm to help you move.
Derek Walter Hughes11 August 2026From start to finish, Hayden and his colleague were excellent. Professional, efficient, and personable, my wife and I are grateful for their help in moving home.
Pamela Eaddy30 June 2026Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! The team turned up 10 minutes early to ensure that they started at the agreed time, were really friendly, and got everything loaded much quicker than I expected as it was an extremely hot day! They handled all of our furniture with care, and nothing was too much trouble. Moving house is usually stressful, but they made the whole day so much easier. Everything arrived safely with no damage, and they even helped put the larger furniture in the right rooms. I’d definitely recommend Hayden and his team to anyone moving home. Great bunch of guys, hardworking, polite, and excellent value for money. Thanks again for making the move so smooth!
Matthew Kerr30 June 2026My experience with HJG Removals was excellent throughout the process. The staff were efficient and friendly, taking great care of my belongings, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them for a fast, stress-free move.
